Thank you for visiting! This charming manor house next to Tapada de Mafra, offers a tranquil atmosphere and proximity to the lush nature that surrounds it. The house displays a traditional Portuguese country architecture that harmonizes with the natural environment around it.

On the ground floor we have 3 living rooms, 2 adjoining rooms, one with double height ceiling and an enormous luminosity and another cosier with fireplace, there is also the dining room with access to the social bathroom, pantry and a deliciously traditional kitchen also with fireplace. All these large and bright spaces are decorated with solid wood furniture and design elements that bring nature into the interior. Both the living room and the dining room are served by two covered verandas where El fresco meals and conviviality parties are sure to have a new flavour.

The access to the first floor, is made by a magnificent staircase, which brings to mind the traditional country manor houses, on this first floor we have a large suite, 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom that serves both rooms.The access to the attic is made by one of these rooms. The attic which is still raw, and can be a custom-made project, has big windows for a wonderful view.

Outside a 2000 m2 space, the garden invites you to moments of tranquillity and leisure in the open air, with exuberant vegetation, leafy trees and enchanting resting places, you will find the perfect scenery to relax, read a book or simply contemplate.

Here is a bit of Gradil's history, told by its Parish: "Gradil was granted a charter by King Afonso IV, in 1327, which was later confirmed by King Manuel I. Having belonged, by Decree of 6 November 1836, to the Municipality of Enxara dos Cavaleiros, by Law of 12 June 1837 to the Municipality of Azueira and with the extinction of the latter, in 1855, it became part of the current Municipality of Mafra.
It is characterized by an essentially agricultural region, rich in vineyards and orchards, with a surprising landscape, the existence of some eighteenth and nineteenth century manor houses and a baroque Mother Church, dedicated to S. Silvestre, dating from the seventeenth century, and holder of an organ of Machado de Cerveira with the number 59, from the year 1801.
